Interesting collection of autographs. All autographs are in a 1978 date book with a focus on sports, entertainment and politics. Many have newspaper clippings telling where the famed in-person autograph hound Steve K. got the signature. Sports signatures include Pat Riley, Carlos Baerga, Tito Francona, Sam McDowell (L), Chuck Daly, Desmond Howard, Miami Heat, Robert Parish and Celtics, Willis Reed and NJ Nets, Paul Molitor, Chicago Bulls, Baltimore Orioles and others. Entertainment signatures include George Jones, Ruth Brown, Itzak Perlamn, Ice-T, Gatlin Bros., Alabama, Dave Brubeck, Statler Bros., Tommy Chong, Yanni, Al Stewart, Charlie Daniels, Rosemary Clooney, Paul Anka and others. Political signatures include Al and Tipper Gore, Gloria Steinem, Bella Abzug and others.

This amazing collection of 30,000 autographs was obtained in person by one of the pioneering autograph hounds, Steve Kostrubanic. This Cleveland-area native wandered outside the theaters and sports venues of Cleveland searching for celebrities from the late 1940s right up to the early 2000s. He was fluent in all areas of popular culture including baseball, football, boxing, sports, rock ‘n’ roll, music, cinema, theater, television and more. His later job as Senator Jacob Javitz’s personal driver gave him even greater access to the rich and famous. A Golden Gloves Boxing Champion, he is a member of the Ohio State Boxing Hall of Fame.
