White Caps were vigilante gangs in the late 19th Century and early 20th Century who were driven by their own form of frontier justice to enforce their own perceived "community standards" which were motivated by economic and racial biases.
The ornate presentational ribbon offered here is comprised of a white enamel pin framed in gold, a blue ribbon trimmed in gold with tassels, and a pink bow with a white Klu Klux Clan inspired "white cap." Reads "Member, White Cap New Year Association, 1915."
