Beautiful Beatles find. A remnant of a used string from George Harrison's guitar. Plus, an original signed letter from Louise Harrison, George Harrison's mother. Plus more. All of the items originate from Pat Dutra, a member of the Beatles Fan Club. 1) The used guitar string remnant is approximately 2" long and could have come from the Rickenbacker 360/12 12-string guitar George Harrison started to use in 1964, at about the time of the Beatles first appearance on the Ed Sullivan Show. Louise Harrison, remembered for being particularly nice to Beatles fans, writes, in her unsigned handwriting, that the string is from George Harrison's guitar. 2) A 3.5x5.5" black and white Beatles photo, stamp-signed by all the Beatles. 3) A Beatles Christmas card (3.5x5"). Shows all four Beatles. 4) A Beatles Fan Club membership card (3.5x4') made out to Pat Dutra with Beatles facsimile signatures. 5) A signed letter from Louise Harrison to Pat (Dutra) that thanks Pat "for your kind letter" and states, "I have been away for 5 weeks, and the number of letters here is fantastic, 5,000 nearly. I have answered 128 up to now today." 6) On back of frame is a copy of the envelope of the letter sent to Pat Dutra, in Louise Harrison's handwriting, with a return address of Louise Harrison, in Liverpool, England. Except for the copy of the aforementioned envelope, which is one the back of the frame, all items are matted and framed on an attractive black frame (17x17").
