Wonderful find! The Brooklyn Dodgers won their first, and only, World Series in 1955, when Johnny Podres shut out the New York Yankees, 2-0, in the 7th Game, and here is a signed yearbook from that legendary season. Yearbook (8.5x11") has a drawing by Willard Mullin that shows his famed Brooklyn Dodger Bum reaching for a golden star that frames "1955." Yearbook contains great Spring Training group photos, individual player photos, and extensive bios. Autographs are in blue ballpoint pen. Signatures (24, plus two duplicates): Hall of Famers Jackie Robinson, Roy Campanella, Sandy Koufax, and Pee Wee Reese. Plus, stars Jim Gilliam, Carl Erskine (twice), Joe Black, Gil Hodges, Johnny Podres, Carl Furillo, Clem Labine, and Don Newcombe. Also, Don Zimmer, Dixie Howell, Frank Kellert (twice), Jim Hughes, Billy Loes, Russ Meyer, Karl Spooner, Bert Hamric, Walt Moryn, Ed Roebuck, Rube Walker, George Shuba, Pete Wojey. Has one loose 4-page segment. Very small staining in a few spots. Overall Good condition. Comes with a PSA/DNA Letter of Authenticity.
