Leonard "Truck" Robinson essentially played two seasons for the New York Knicks, the 1982-83 and the 1983-84 campaigns. He only played two games in 1984-85. He also performed for four other NBA teams. A 6'7" forward, he was a "tweener", with the strength of a power forward and the finesse of a small forward. He didn't get the nickname "Truck" for being soft on the boards. Robinson was a rugged rebounder who averaged over 8 rebounds a game in his two full Knick seasons. In 1977-78, with the New Orleans Jazz, he led the league in average rebounds per game at 15.7 and total defensive rebounds with 990. Home white jersey, has #21 on front and verso.
