From the St. Louis Cardinals miraculous 1982 World Series wining season comes this Ozzie Smith game used bat. This Adirondack "Flame Treated" Big Stick is uncracked and has "155S" and "026 3" stamped on the knob. The bat shows nice use with marks, light pine tar and a few paint transfers presumably from being tossed into the dugout's bat rack. The knob of the bat has a handwritten "1" in black marker. Later in life, this well-preserved bat was signed by "The Wizard" on the barrel in 8/10 black marker. The grain of the bat is raised in a few spots but does not detract from the overall great appearance of this vintage bat. Nice piece of 1982 Cardinals/HOF shortstop memorabilia.

Addendum: Given the markings on the knob, we can conclude this bat was used in 1983 and not 1982.
