Kid Nichols racked up 361 career victories on the mound for the Braves, Cardinals and Phillies and retired with a lifetime 2.95 ERA. He was the youngest pitcher to secure membership in the "300 Wins Club." Oddly, Nichols waited forty-three years following his 1906 retirement before entering the Hall. He would enjoy the honor for four years when, at age eighty-three, he passed away in 1953. Offered is a very attractive and scarce N300 Mayo Cut Plug card of the 19th Century star. Small surface paper loss affects his portrait, and paper glued to reverse. Graded POOR.
