Neal Broten has a great distinction; he is one of the few players who have ever won all of the following: an NCAA hockey championship (University of Minnesota, 1979); an Olympic gold medal (Team USA, 1980); a Stanley Cup (New Jersey Devils, 1995). Broten played most of his 17-year career with the Minnesota North Stars, and then the team they became, the Dallas Stars.
