Valued signed photo from a classic NHL player. Max Bentley is a 1966 HOF inductee, a 3-time Stanley Cup Champion (Maple Leafs), a 2-time Ross Trophy winner as the NHL's leading scorer, the 1942-43 Lady Byng winner (sportsmanship), and the 1945-46 Hart Memorial Trophy Winner (NHL MVP). He played for Chicago Black Hawks, Toronto Maple Leafs and New York Rangers. In an amazing feat, he is one of the three brothers to play on the NHL's first "siblings only" line, when on January 1, 1943, he centered a line with his brothers Doug and Reg on the wings. Two nights later, brother Reg scored his only NHL goal on assists from his brothers, marking the only time in NHL history that three brothers scored a goal and had both assists on the score. Signed in ballpoint pen. "No. 7" written in pen on the top, "Max Bentley" written in pencil on verso. Measures 8x10". Comes with PSA LOA
