Wonderful Mets moment, with 30+ signatures. Taken just after the Mets have clinched the seventh game of the 1986 Series against the Boston Red Sox. Mets reliever Jesse Orosco had one out to go for the Mets win, and Orosco struck out Marty Barrett on a 2-2 pitch and bedlam ensued. Orosco threw his glove high in the air and then dropped to his knees. Catcher Gary Carter rushed to the mound to embrace Orosco and the rest of the team followed suit in a now iconic happy pile-up of players. Signatures, in Mets orange felt tip pen, include: Coaches Stottlemyre and Harrelson, Hernandez, Carter, Knight (WS MVP), Gooden, Wilson, Strawberry,Howard Johnson, Dykstra, Ojeda, Backman + more.
