Nice photo of Hall of Fame Philadelphia A's manager Connie Mack, spiffy in civilian clothes. He was an easy-going manager who would usually correct players in private. It looks as if he's enjoying giving the lecture. Cornelius McGillicuddy (his real name) managed the most Major League games, 7,755; won the most games in MLB history, 3,731; and also lost the most, 3,948. He would build great teams and then have to break up the roster because of the team's financial difficulties. Then he would build great teams again, winning five World Series, the most in history. Mister Mack managed for 50 years, until he was 87, all with the A's. Signature is slightly faded. Signed "Sincerely- Connie Mack." Framed, measures 12.4x14.5".
