Nice site poster (16.5x28") featuring Henry Armstrong, reigning Featherweight Champion, against Eddie Zivic at Detroit's Olympic Stadium on March 25, 1938. The amazing Armsrtong was in the midst of a string of 46 consecutive victories that had started in '37. Zivic was one of the Fighting Zivic Brothers, but he contributed to Armstrong's streak, losing by TKO in the 4th round. Armstrong was the only fighter to ever simultaneously hold three titles, as for a few months in '39 he held the Featherweight, Lightweight, and Welterweight World Championships. Also touted on the poster is a bout between Maurice Strickland and Unknown Winston, of whom Randy Roberts once said, "The appropriately named Unknown Winston." Heavyweight Winston never held any crowns, but was a tough "opponent." Armstrong's photo is on the poster. A few small scratches and minor tears. Good historical item of the legendary Armstrong, who, along with Dempsey and Louis, was one of the first three fighters named to the Boxing Hall Of Fame.
