Beautiful vintage scorecard (4.5x7") from the May 10, 1884, American Association game featuring the Baltimore Orioles at the Philadelphia Athletics. The American Association at this time was a major league. The game was held at the Jefferson Street Grounds, and won by the Athletics 11-4. The cover of the scorecard shows old-time spelling of baseball as it reads, "Athletic Base Ball Club." The four-page card stock folding scorecard is meticulously scored with every play recorded in a basic system. Nice advertisements of the era featured on back page. EX-MT condition.
