This 16mm color transparency is the ultimate “Rope-A-Dope” image and the first we’ve come across. During the 1974 Ali v. Foreman, "Rumble In The Jungle", Ali brilliantly used the “Rope-A-Dope” technique to let the heavily favored and un-beaten Foreman wear himself out and ultimately lose. This crystal clear transparency shows Ali leaning back into the ropes while Forman is swinging away. Interesting image from what many have called, “the greatest sporting event of the 20th century.”
