Fantastic type 1 photo of a happily grinning Al Capone and smiling Gabby Harnett as he signs a ball for Alphonse Jr.  Capone  loved baseball and so did his son so when he appeared in public on a very open environment to go to Comiskey Park in 1931 to watch a Cubs, White Sox charity game it was a HUGE deal. His friend, Hartnett came over to spend some time with the gangster. Because of Landis' sensitivity to gambling and the Black Sox scandal, Hartnett was immediately called into the commissioner's Chicago office and was read the riot act for "consorting with gamblers". This is one of only a handful known to exist. The verso has a full stamp from the International News Chicago Bureau and a large paper caption describing the action. Measures 8x10"
