Outstanding snapshot collection of the 1921 Cleveland Indians wearing their extremely rare "Worlds Champions" uniform following the classic 1920 World Series. Each 2.75 x 4.5" snapshot is in focus, clear and has incredible subject matter. Each players name is hand written on the back along with their position and some even make mention of specific World Series plays. Players include Tris Speaker "World Champs", Bill Wambsganss "World Series Triple Play Hero", Jack Graney "Later Sportscaster", Doc Johnston, George Uhle, Steve O'Niel, George Burns and Charlie Jamieson. The handwriting did leave an impression on the snapshots that can bee seen on the fronts but does not distract from the overall appearance too greatly.
