After the Yankees won the '51 World Series, Joe DiMaggio joined his brother Dom, Billy Martin, Eddie Lopat, Mel Parnell and others on a tour of Japan. The squad was managed by Lefty O'Doul. Program is in Japanese and features small photos of all the players on both teams. At the time, the public wasn't aware that DiMaggio had just finished his major league career. 2-3) 1950 Babe Ruth Story promotional pamphlets (2). Written in both Japanese and English, these tout the movie, which starred William Bendix as the Babe. 4) 1949 Pride of the Yankees Movie Program. Has Gary Cooper on the cover, playing the role of Lou Gehrig. Written in Japanese.
