He played offensive guard and offensive tackle for the Steelers for the entire decade of the 1970’s and finished fifth in the 1981 World’s Strongest Man competition.

 

Home black jersey is comprised of a cotton-durene blend with gold/white stripes adorning the sleeves. “34” is sewn on the front/back/shoulders in white tackle twill, while “Wolfley” is sewn on a verso nameplate in gold tackle twill. Tagging in the tail includes a “Sand-Knit” exclusive tag, “Sand-Knit 48” size tag, and “83” year swatch.

 

The garment exhibits heavy game wear with at over THIRTY TEAM REPAIRS, fraying and reinforcing to the identifiers, and blood stains. Comes with letter of provenance from the Pittsburgh Steelers.

Jersey comes directly from the Steelers archive and come with an LOA from the Steelers. A portion of the proceeds from the sale of Steelers Archives items will be donated to the Chuck Noll Foundation for Brain Injury Research.
