From the Nippon Baseball Kimono Collection, an important archive of baseball and other sports-themed kimonos recently discovered in Japan and exported to the United States. Compiled over many decades, they are the finest we have seen. Beautiful. Nice muted colors in mostly grey-blue, tan, and brown. Features repeated images, mostly baseball including a Mizuno baseball. Also a partial scoreboard, and a baseball glove and bat. Also includes a victory trophy (sport not indicated), tennis images, and also seashells. Extra large men's size. A few small holes that do not substantially detract from overall appearance.
