Handwritten letter from Elston Howard responding to a Yankee fan who thanked him for breaking up a no-hitter against the Boston Red Sox. Howard broke up Billy Rohr's no-hitter with two outs in the ninth inning on April 14, 1967. The letter states, "Dear Mike, I want to thank you very much for a wonderful letter and from a Yankee fan, and one that understands the game. Once again I want to thank you and keep pulling for us. The Best to You, Elston Howard". Letter comes with original envelope with Howard's handwriting, dated May 22, 1967, and is NM with 8/10 signature. Comes certified by PSA.
