Now this bat shows some use! This original and uncracked bat has outstanding patina with everything that a collector loves to find. The all black Hillerich & Bradsby model C271 (1998-00) has "Seattle Mariners" and Alex Rodriguez's facsimile signature stamped on the barrel along with "A-ROD 3" hand written in silver on the knob. The unique and attractive looking spiral/criss-cross grip tape winds its way 8" up the handle and looks great. The barrel is loaded with ball marks as well as a few cleat marks from cleaning his spikes. With a decent amount of pine tar is present in between the spiral tape and the "Louisville Slugger" insignia, you can tell this was in commission for quite some time. Comes with PSA Letter of Authenticity. Who knows how many of A-Rod's 696 came off the barrel of this bat?
