Don Mossi collection with game used hat and Cleveland Indians contract. Beautiful and exceedingly rare style Cleveland Indians hat featuring the "C" in the front featuring Chief Wahoo in the center looking through. The insignia was originally embroidered separately, then the whole patch was sewn onto the hat after. This Wilson size 6 7/8 shows terrific use and also has the number "12" (Mossi's number) written on the inside in black marker. Contract is from 1956, the same period as hat and is for $13,500 per season with the Cleveland Indians. The contract is signed by Mossi, Indians Gen. Mgr. Hank Greenberg and American League President William Harridge. Document has typical mailing folds and two holes for filing.
