Rare off-beat item highlighting Sadaharu Oh, the world's home run leader with 868, hit all in Japan for the Yomiuri Giants. Believed to be circa 1970's, belt contains 15 "animated" (.75" square) images of Oh's famous swing, the swing with the exaggerated "Flamingo Kick", so that when one quickly moves the belt horizontally, like a piece of movie film, the illusion can almost be created that Oh is swinging, and a youngster could, as it says on the belt, study Oh's "batting form". There is no maker listed, but it is a Yomiuri Giants officially licensed item. Belt is approx. 29 inches from tip to tip and fits a 25-27 inch waist. Belt also has a nice small photo of Oh, and a belt buckle with the Yomiuri Giants emblem in Giants orange and black.
