To celebrate 100 years of NY baseball the Yankees sported these beautiful throwback 1912 jerseys of the New York Highlanders. 1912 was the final year that "Highlanders" was used, the following year the "Yankees" name was used exclusively. The famous curved "NY" was also moved from the sleeve to the front as this jersey displays and is in fact felt. There is no number on the back of the jersey, as there wasn't in 1912. The cap has a "28" handwritten under the brim. Jersey has "28 28 1912" tag on tail. The jersey, cap and pants each having Steiner and MLB holograms. Comes with Steiner LOA for each item.
