Dating back to the early days of professional basketball comes this beautiful All American Gold Smith team signed basketball by both teams to make it to the 1944-45 NBL Championship; the Sheboygan Red Skins and Fort Wayne Zollner Pistons. The main highlight in this mini collection is a beautiful vintage basketball featuring (19) signatures from both teams. Red Skins (10): Entire Playoffs roster with Otto Ruppel and coach Henry "Dutch" Denhert. Pistons (9): McDermott, Jeannette, Reiser, Pelkington, Bush, Synnott, Shipp, Birch, Glass. Each team signed on opposite sides of the ball, ideal for display purposes, and the ball holds air. The second signed item is a 1944-45 Sheboygan Red Skins team signed photograph by 10: Schulz, Dancker, Novak, Lautenschlager, Lucas, Holm, Kelly, Moschetti, Ruppel and President Magnus Brinkman. Photograph is also signed on the back by players' wives and others. Wrapping up the collection are (8) original 8x10" photographs from the Championship with photographer's stamp "Bayens Photo '45" on front bottom right. Photos are NM with no creases.
