Fine club was designed and made under the direction of Toney Penna, the most famous golf club artisan in the world from the 1950's to the 1970's. Very few of these were produced, and they were only given to the amateur participants in the pro-am. The real story is that Frank wanted Penna to make the clubs out of solid gold, but Penna argued that it was prohibitive and copper plated them instead, giving them a high gloss. Sinatra's caricature and facsimile signature are stamped on the bottom of the putter, with the words, "1963 Invitational." There is definite wear, but nothing that does very much to detract from the overall look, and the handle is NRMT. A similar club sold recently in Japan for over $20,000.
