Attractive porcelain ashtrays were given to players during the Gold Glove Awards dinner. Never saw another Al Kaline. The only other one we saw was a Willie Mays. Measures 3 & 3/4" in diameter, with a painted gold ring, the ashtray's inscription reads, "1963, AMERICAN LEAGUE ALL-STAR FIELDING TEAM, AL KALINE, OF". An image of the award itself is on the ashtray. Underneath the image is written, "RAWLINGS GOLD GLOVE AWARD." Known for his fielding savvy, speed and arm, Hall of Famer Kaline won ten Gold Glove awards, all as an outfielder. NM-MT.
