This Hickory professional (No Model #) bat is 35" long, weighs 41.7 ounces is un-cracked and exhibits evidence of outstanding use. Many ball marks are visible on all sides of the barrel right where you'd like to see them. Upon closer inspection cleat marks can be found on the front, right and left sides of the barrel. Signed by James Bell and then gifted to former Negro League player Lester Lockett. Lockett then signed the bat himself and smartly inscribed, "Bat used by Bell in Black League" and "Cool gave me this bat and told me he used it in 1932." Bat comes from the private collection of the President to the Negro Leagues Players Association, Richard Berg and comes with a PSA GU 7 Letter Of Authenticity.
