Near complete run of single signed baseballs from the members of the 1955 World Champion Brooklyn Dodgers. The most important cog in this beloved machine, Jackie Robinson, is inscribed "4-8-63 To Ernie with Best Wishes" on an ONL Warren Giles ball. The signature is a 6/10, and the ball NM. Plus, Campanella (post-accident), Bessent, Koufax, Amoros, Snider, Alston, Furillo, Black, Herman, Borkowski, Moryn, Herman and more. There are a total of 27 signed baseballs of which 9 are nicely inscribed. All are on ONL or OML baseballs except for Don Zimmer, and the manager Walt Alston appears on an official 1983 All Star Game ball. Overall condition of the signatures is 7/10 and the baseballs are NM. The 1955 Brooklyn Dodgers have become a symbol of David versus Goliath in the sports lexicon. What better representation of their glory than baseballs signed by almost each and every one of them.
Addendum: ALL are certified by either PSA or JSA.
