Light but right Official National League Spalding Baseball signed right on the sweet spot by Babe Ruth. Best of all inscribed on the side panel by the recipient, "Game Played at Springfield Mass May 27, 1926". An off day for the boys of New York after finishing up a series with the Red Sox they must have played a exhibition game versus the Springfield team. We have not checked the microfiche yet but they likely met the Eastern League Springfield Ponies before the trip back. The ball is authenticated by SGC and comes with their LOA. Difficult to find Ruth signed baseballs placing him at the spot!
