Very interesting attendance list from Joe DiMaggio's Testimonial Dinner on October 26, 1936 at the Bal Tabatin Cafe to commemorate rookie Joltin' Joe's San Francisco homecoming after the New York Yankees World Series victory. This is a virtual who's who of the DiMaggio family, San Francisco, and California baseball. Originally presented to Joe (and later given to his brother Dominic), the scroll is completely handmade, decorated, colored, and mounted on a reflective foil background and professionally matted and framed. The roughly 350 signatures feature mostly Italian attendees. Some of the rarer autographs found on this keepsake are the ones of his parents, Giuseppe and Rosalia DiMaggio. Other notable signatures include San Francisco Mayor Angelo Rossi and future World Middleweight Champion boxer Fred Apostoli. The condition grades VG, with most of the ink/pencil signatures coming in at 6-8/10. On top someone wrote "Dominic DiMaggio?" in pencil for an unknown reason but his true signature is clearly found on the list. Maybe they were afraid he wouldn't show for his mercurial brother's feast. Measures 38x 31".
