One-page, two-sided letter on orange paper dated Sept 7th, 1973 and addressed "Dear Roy". Fitzsimmons give his greatest thrills about being in the major leagues in addition to naming some of the players he thought were the best. His list is long and, as he says, incomplete. Included are Babe Ruth, Lou Gehrig, Bill Terry, Mel Ott, Stan Musial, Rogers Hornsby, Pie Traynor and Paul Waner. Letter has vertical and horizontal fold creases. While the handwriting is shaky, the blue ballpoint pen is clean and clear.
