Tremendous assemblage of Black and Red bats from the personal collection of Bernie Stowe, longtime clubhouse manager for the Cincinnati Reds. Although the Reds were not in the World Series for a good portion of these bats, the higher ups at Louisville Slugger would still sometimes send Bernie black bats, as he had a very good relationship with the people there. The set includes Reds NL Championship bats from 72', 73', 76', 79' (all red); Reds WC bats from 75' and 76' (both red); three Reds 1970 NL Champions and one Reds 1972 NL Champions (all black); and 1989 NLC Padres, 1998 WC Yankees, 1995 WC Braves, 1996 NLC Braves and 1995 ALC Indians (all black). The bats are overall EX to NM with most being on the nicer end of the spectrum. There are some tough ones here and some even have the original presentational cards still attached.
