Fresh to the PSA registry comes this complete set of 1948 Bowman baseball cards with a weighted GPA of 6.99. Every card in this set has been graded by PSA and is currently #14 on the PSA Registry. An exact breakdown of the amount of cards, per grade, is listed here: PSA 8s (20): Berra, Spahn, Marion, Rizzuto, Mize, Sain, Schoendienst (oc), Reynolds, Sauer, Thomson. PSA 7s (12): Musial, Slaughter. (10) PSA 6s, (5) PSA 5s and (1) PSA 4. This set has been put together from one of the originating set collectors in the hobby, who submitted these cards himself 15+ years ago. This set, along with a number of other high grade complete sets in this auction, have been hidden for 15+ years and are being offered to the public for the first time. Many cases are from the early days of PSA grading, so there may be possibilities for upgrades. Another interesting fact is that when the PSA numbers were entered into the database, none of the cards were registered to previous owners except for the Kiner and Schoendienst which were filled in by Leland's.
