This is a very special career award given to Oscar Robertson by the NBA on the night of his last professional regular season game, March 26, 1974, in Milwaukee. The plaque says it all, encapsulating Robertson's Hall of Fame career with the following passage: "One of the greatest players in NBA history... All-time assists leader... twelve times named to play in the East-West All-Star game... All-time top scorer in All-Star competition... Three-time All-Star game most valuable player... No. 2 lifetime in NBA scoring... All-time leader in free throws made... Rookie of the year (1961)... Podoloff Trophy winner (1964)... Named 12 times to year-end All-NBA team." The top of the wood plaque with cast metal attached has an image of Robertson, with the raised lettering "National Basketball Association Special Achievement Award presented to Oscar Robertson" underneath. it is in NM condition.
