1902 celluloid ribbon pin features early baseball players posed in a field with crossed bats, mitts and a catchers mask. A large home is in the background of the image and the players are dressed in more formal attire as opposed to in uniform. Ribbon states "Committee Harris I. O. G. T. Field Day Klondike Park September 1, 1902." Some fading and fraying to the ribbon, but circular celluloid pin is in perfect condition. Original pin maker advertisement on back mounted to ribbon. Ribbon most likely is from Klondike Park Missouri, but one cannot ignore the fact that it may relate to the Yukon Gold Rush which was at it's peak from 1897-1899.
