A beautiful relic from the early stages of a Hall of Fame career, this Bernard King game worn New Jersey Nets warm-up is a red, snap-button short-sleeved top with white script "Nets" on the left breast, and white trim. Rawlings size 46 tag is in the neck with "Bernard" in white on a nameplate on back. Shows heavy use with the red finish worn from most of the snaps and a hole on the bottom, displaying the beating of the first two seasons of King's outstanding tenure. Sources from the collection of former Nets owner Joe Taub, with handwritten "Taub" in neck. Bernard played 14 NBA seasons for five different teams, earning All-Star honors four times and leading the league in scoring in 1985 while with the New York Knicks.
