The tandem of Ruth and Gehrig terrorized opposing pitchers during the 1920s and '30s, forming the heart of the Yankee lineup referred to as "Murderer's Row." Their potent one-two punch laid the foundation for what is considered to be one of the best teams of all time, the 1927 Yanks, a team that won a then-record 110 games. During their time with the Yankees, the two combined to win four World Series and five AL pennants, ushering in the first incarnation of the Yankee dynasty. Ruth's signature appears on the sweet spot and grades 8/10, while Gehrig's name can be found on the north panel and rates 7/10. The ball grades VG-EX and comes with a PSA LOA and "Ultimate Letter of Authenticity" from JSA. Two of the most coveted names in the industry appear on a ball with tremendous display quality.
