Hailing from around 1913-17, this Ban Johnson American League Reach baseball is still sealed in original box. Johnson was the founder and first president of the American League, which he ruled with an iron fist for many years until he was ousted by the league's owners, so as to retain the services of baseball's commissioner, Kenesaw Mountain Landis. The seal has a tear but is still intact. The box has a small crease but is otherwise EX; the condition of the ball is unknown, but one could assume the unopened example is a high one.
