From the Daily News Photogravure section, this unique lot is a collection of 23 Major League players of the 1938 Cubs.  Inside cover has the original newspaper instructions regarding how to create the scrapbook from photos in the Sunday section each week.  The series included the Sox and the Cubs, however, this particular scrapbook contains was obviously collected by a Cubs fan.  Images include: Charlie Grimm, Dizzy Dean, "Ripper Collins", Jim O'Dea, Frank Demaree, Larry French, Stan Hack, Vance Page,Bob Garbark, Augie Galan, Gabby Hartnett, Tony Lazzeri, Al Epperly, Carl Reynolds, Charlie Root, Tex Carleton, Phil Cavarretta, Bill Jurges, Clay Bryant, Jim Asbell, Billy Herman, Jack Russell, and Bill Lee.
