This original gouache on artist's board features the 1992 Giants starring Lawrence Taylor, Phil Simms, and Mark Bavaro. The trio are done in a caricature style, with Giants GM George Young in the background pondering in thought bubbles, "Bavaro, L.T., Simms... Great Giants two Super Bowls... We've got to find more players like them... But where?" A little more than a year earlier, the G-Men won Super Bowl XXV over the Buffalo Bills in dramatic fashion when Bills kicker Scott Norwood missed a last-second field goal wide right. The illustration was used on the Giants team newspaper, "Giants Extra," which is affixed to the back of the board, and was done by Mike Petronella, whose caricatures and cartoons have appeared in such publications as the National Sports Daily, the The New York Times, and the New York Daily News. It measures 14.5x19".
