From the collection of legendary concessionaire Harry M. Stevens, this set includes five original pieces of comic art given to Stevens. These whimsical pieces were all done in pen and ink in the 1910s and have been signed by the artists. Four are personalized to Stevens, while the one that isn't was done by Tad Dorgan, who was erroneously credited with coining the term "hot dog." Stevens is believed to be the inventor of the hot dog, having created the American staple out of necessity on a cold day in New York in April 1901.
