From his last year with the Miami Marlins, this jersey was game worn by Giancarlo Stanton during his NL MVP year in 2017. Following the season, in which Stanton hit a Major League best 59 home runs and 132 RBIs, the young slugger was traded to the Yankees in a blockbuster deal. This jersey was worn by Stanton when he hit HR #16 on the year and has been photo-matched to two games: May 20 and June 9th. It is MLB authenticated to June 9, when the Marlins topped the Pirates by a score of 12-7 and Stanton went 2-4 with three RBIs and a HR. The jersey has a Jose Fernandez "16" patch on the front, commemorating the brilliant Marlins pitcher who died tragically at the end of the 2016 season, and an All-Star Game patch on the right sleeve. There is also a size 46 tag on the front. This is a tremendous jersey from one of baseball's brightest young stars who is now a part of one of the game's most fabled organizations.
