1) Gallant Fox was America’s second Triple Crown winner, ridden by Earl Sande. A month later, the horse ran in the Arlington Classic, in Chicago, on July 12, 1930. We are pleased to offer this program which witnessed the great horse winning. The program has some writing, mostly identifying the first three finishers in four of the seven races. The remaining races are unmarked, including the Arlington Classic. 2) Westchester Racing Association badge for the 1930 spring meeting with original string attached. The pass is important as it was issued to Hall of Famer John Gaver, but, it is more significant as it witnessed Gallant Fox winning the Belmont Stakes & the TC. 3) Five rare photos by photographers including Acme, Pacific & Atlantic, and the Associated Press. Gallant Fox is shown with Sande in the winner’s circle of each of the TC races. All are in EX to NM condition.
