The renowned sports artist Arthur K Miller continues his series of "Cards That Never Were" with this piece featuring one of the all-time greats. Mr. Miller’s work has been exhibited internationally, and is in many private collections worldwide. "Joltin’Joe" was, for reasons lost to history, omitted, along with several other notable stars, from the 1951 Bowman set, so this is what his card might have looked like. This banner measures 26x40", with metal hooks on the back for hanging. Created in mixed media on raw canvas, this fabulous artwork is signed by the artist on the front in the upper right, and the back has the title, date, and artist’s signature.
