This is the nicest edition we have seen of Babe Ruth's National Game of Baseball, a board game from 1921. A graphic of Ruth is featured prominently on the front in full Yankee uniform, and the inside displays a stark green baseball field surrounded by the game's rules and various prompts. The game is played between two people and is executed simply by throwing dice, with dozens of situations corresponding to each roll. Capitalizing on two crazes of the day - baseball and board games - the game was produced by Ranburn Co., Inc. in Tonawanda, NY. The pieces and dice are included with the complete board, which measures 19x7.5" when closed.
