Offered is an unopened wax box of the "tall and wide" boys issue of 1976-77 Topps basketball. These larger cards were issued with 24 packs of ten cards each and include the first appearance of Hall of Famer David Thompson as well as cards of Hall of Famers Julius Erving, Pete Maravich, Kareem Abdul-Jabbar, George Gervin and Moses Malone. Wrapped by Steve Hart of BBCE, this box originally had two split seams along the left side, but all 24 packs were NM or better.
