From baseball's seventh Midsummer Classic comes this extremely rare 1939 All-Star Game pin, which was presented to umpire Cal Hubbard, who worked home plate during the game. The front features a baseball inside a diamond, reading "1939, New York." Outside the basepaths reads: "All-Star Game, American League." The pin is comprised of 10k gold with four diamonds, one for each base. The back is engraved: "Cal Hubbard," the only man ever to be enshrined in both the Baseball and Pro Football Halls of Fame, having played nine seasons in the NFL, primarily for the Green Bay Packers. He is credited with helping create the position of linebacker. Produced by Dieges & Clust, the pin measures 1" wide and comes from the family of Cal Hubbard.
