From British Royals The Countess of Kintore and her daughter, Lady Hilda Keith-Falconer, who visited Kentucky horse and hemp farms, this truly exceptional leather-bound album is filled with photographs, capturing all aspects of life at a bluegrass farm in Lexington, KY. Best of all there are 22 pages (out of 37 total pages) filled with approximately 15 rare photos and a real photo postcard of the great race horses of the day: Kinley Mac & Ben Holladay on Elmsdorf Farm, 1905 Kentucky Derby champion Plaudit on John E. Madden's farm, Highroller, Imp-Order, DieuDonne, Old Slallion and more. Most interestingly, the first part of this book has images of the hemp/marijuana farm and a dried marijuana leaf has even been pressed into the book. The book also harkens back to slavery and the Civil War, with former and children of slaves taking care of the hemp and the horses. Album is expansive with photos, prints, articles, letters etc. of in length and measures 11x15".
