A 14-year veteran and stalwart of the NHL during the late 1970s and '80s, Wilf Paiement is perhaps best known for his volatility on the ice. Paiement had numerous violent encounters with opponents, most notably with Dennis Polonich of the Detroit Red Wings in 1978, for which Polonich later sued Paiement and won. True to character, this all-original jersey of Paiement's shows terrific use with stick marks, board burns, and unrepaired rips. The Penguins logo is screened on front with "9" heat-pressed on both sleeves and the back along with "PAIEMENT" on the upper back. There is a Maska Air Knit tag in the collar and the jersey comes with a Letter of Authenticity.
